Kingdom regalia worries Ankole traditionalists

Plans by the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry to build a multi-billion commercial complex on the Uganda Museum premises have raised serious concerns and attracted the attention of the Banyankole traditionalists. According to Justus Muhanguzi, the spokesperson for the Nkore Cultural Trust, there are growing fears that the former Ankole kingdom’s regalia being kept at the museum will be completely damaged and lost if the project is to be implemented.
