Uganda’s booming construction industry is beginning to witness introduction of building materials that are friendly to the environment, the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has said. UNBS quality assurance manager Gyavira Musoke says: “Increased awareness on health and wanting to get more green are some of the reasons manufacturers and importers are considering a shift to more eco-friendly products.”
