Parliament has quizzed the Uganda Investment Authority Board of Directors as to why the investment body’s Executive Director Professor Maggie Kigozi remained in office for nine months after her contract had expired. The Parliamentary Committee on Statutory Bodies and State Enterprises discovered that the Uganda Investment Authority boss’ contract expired in December 2009 but she remained in office until August 2010, when she had her contract renewed.
