I am writing in response to Sarah Kyobe’s letter published in The Razor Newspaper of April 15, 2011. In her letter, Sarah expressed discomfort over Crispy Kaheru’s article titled “Is Uganda on a steady road to a police state?” She argued that Uganda is a triumphant democracy that has not a single speck of a police state. Sarah’s analysis did not portray a balanced picture of the sort of government we are seeing at the moment.
