Stanchart starts cross-border banking in EAC

Standard Chartered Bank has introduced cross-border banking between Kenya and Uganda even as the East African region is still in the formative stages of establishing single currency zone. Tanzania is expected to come on board as soon as regulatory issues are ironed out by the central bank of Tanzania.
