Bright Stars FC were on Sunday crowned Kawempe Division One Champions, following a 2-1 win over the Ex-Internationals’ side led by former Cranes’ skipper George Ssemwogerere in match played at the contested Kazo Sports ground. Bright Stars, famous for their short and crisp passes, which culminate into attacking football, topped the Kawempe league with 56 points, 20 more than Makerere University, who were smuggled into this fold without kicking a ball in division two.
