Buvuma - Police and prisons officers last week received a boost in diet, after they were given several tonnes of impounded immature fish.
The boon came in the wake of an operation carried out by officials of the Beach Management Unit in the districts of Buvuma and Mukono, led by Haruna Lukoma, who made the ‘donation’.
The immature fish worth Shs33m and packed in 11 boxes was allegedly headed for Kampala but was intercepted by police in Lwajje Island in Bwema Sub
