Five arrested for stealing WFP cassava

Gulu - Five women were recently arrested for allegedly stealing cassava tubers worth millions of shillings at the World Food Programme farm in Labwora, Koro Sub County. The suspects who include Ms Ventolina Alum, 54, Grace Adong, 27, Lilly Adong, Pasca Atto and Jacklyne Abalo, claimed to have worked for WFP in 2009 but that they were not paid.
