Kanungu - As poverty continues to bite so is unemployment as evidenced by the many applications received for two vacant posts in Kanungu district.
The post of the Assistant Clerk has attracted 95 applicants who have been shortlisted for oral interviews, while 263 people have been shortlisted for the post of Community Development Officer.
Only six of the applicants for CDO will be employed, and according to Richard Kalema, the Secretary to the District Service Commission, all the applicants
