Send a Cow Uganda, a local NGO, last week took 20 dairy farmers to western Kenya to get tips on how to process dry fodder. The four-day visit saw the Ugandans learn how Kenyans feed their animals during the dry season. They also got tips on how to operate a successful farmers’ cooperative with minimal government support.
