Karamoja - Schools in the region might not open for the second term if government and the World Food Programme do not intervene and provide food relief.
According to Peter Luzige, the head teacher of Moroto High School, the suspension of food relief by the WFP had led to the premature closure of several schools in the Karamoja region.
