Politicians should not lie to the people

I just want to voice my opinion at this point. I'm tired of all our politicians, from our local councils, Cabinet ministers, parliamentarians telling us that our country is getting better and better as the days go by. I know I'm only one of many that have been diligently looking for some kind of employment to sustain my simple way of life, to no avail. I have been looking for some kind of job since Jan 1st 2009, it is now May 25th 2011 with no hope of a promise of finding one.
