Respect and up hold human rights

I refer to the demonstrations in the county in which a two and a half year old girl in Masaka was shot through her chest and head killing her instantly. Thankfully the accused will face the Army court Martial.

Everyone deserves a right to life, all persons, agencies of government including the police are under duty to respect, uphold and promote human rights. It is important to draw a common understanding of human rights for the purpose of this article.
