ALREP to provide litmus test for Amama Mbabazi

Peasant farmers in northern Uganda are poised to bag up to Euros 20m from European Union (EU) to lift them from abject poverty. The money comes
from the 10th European Development Fund (EDF), through a project christened Agricultural Livelihoods Recovery Programme (ALREP). This is in
frantic efforts to revamp agriculture so it becomes profitable enough to put the war torn region into an equal footing with the rest of the country. ALREP covers Teso, Lango and Acholi regions.
