Hotel’s water shut off over illegal connection

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) yesterday disconnected water to a Kampala hotel because of an illegal connection. JBK Hotel, which also sports a shopping mall in the middle of the city and is owned by a city tycoon who is now on the run, was disconnected in an ongoing operation by NWSC over defrauding the corporation. The hotel management is accused of paying three times less than the actual money they are supposed to pay.
