KCB to fire mid-level managers

In an ongoing restructuring aimed at cutting costs and boosting profitability, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) is turning the heat on its middle-level managers in the coming weeks after reducing the number of senior managerial positions from 22 to seven executives.
The restructuring which began early January 2011, has seen eight senior managers leave the bank.

“The appointment of second-level managers will cover roles reporting into those that have been announced,” KCB Chief Executive
