The Naguru evictions are beginning to take a heavy human toll. Three women were rushed yesterday to Mulago Hospital after collapsing during the ongoing demolition of their structures in Naguru housing estates.
One of the women, whom residents said had stayed in the dilapidated units for the last 34 years, was too shocked to see a bulldozer raze her two bed-room house.
