Soroti - The Iteso have been assured that the army will undertake to recover their cows stolen by the Karimojong.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on July 12, the UPDF Overall Intelligence Coordinator for the Operation Restore Hope (ORH) in Teso Capt David Omagor said it was the duty of the army to protect all Ugandans and their property.
He however, cautioned the Iteso against exaggerating the number of cattle stolen by the Karimojong warriors, saying it would jeopardize the objectives
