Wanderers slip up in battle for top spot

Wanderers’ run at the top of cricket’s national league division one was put under pressure on Sunday when they were beaten by 29 runs by second-placed Patidar
CC.

A century from Roger Mukasa put Patidar in the driving seat, and the removal of the mercurial Arthur Ziraba for one in the first over of the Wanderers innings by in form Charles Waiswa sealed it. Wanderers were always about 30 runs off the pace.
