Traffic police are doing good job

In response to an article published in the press on April 5, ‘Traffic police back at road junctions’, I am pleased for the simple reason that lights alone have proved incapable of controlling traffic flow. In such cases, traffic officers have to stand near the lights and intervene should there be any problem.

This is very true as has been witnessed by the congestion and deadlocks when traffic officers have been taken away from the main junctions in the city. With our unreliable power
