Dates for Mityana South petition fixed

Court has fixed June 7 and 8 to start hearing the the election petition filed against Mityana south Member of Parliament Ssozi Kadu Mukasa. Both parties will also meet on May 31 to agree on the witnesses to present. Henry Makumbi Kamya filed an application in the High Court seeking a declaration that Kaddu was not validly elected as Member of Parliament for the constituency hence his elections be set aside. Kaddu won by 20,6II votes (50.66 per cent) and Kamya was the second with I9,246 votes
