After a failed mission to win last weekend’s SMC Challenge Rally in Masaka, defending national champion Nasser Mutebi has turned his attention to the inaugural KCB East African event. Mutebi had a strategy of keeping within the top three finishers in the remaining rounds of the national championship - a tactic which his car would not let him realise when it nearly went up in flames three kilometres to the end of the Kyotera-Kasasa 27km stage.
