KIBOGA - A 20-year old mother who abandoned her three months old baby and went on a drinking binge has been detained for child neglect.
Douglas Kasereka, the officer in charge of Child and Family Protection Unit at Kiboga central police station identified the suspect as Margaret Nanyunja, a resident of Kyanga village of Kiboga town council.
According to Kasereka, Nanyunja recently left the baby to her husband Andrew Yiga, and went drinking using Shs5, 000 he had given her to buy food for
