The national boxing trials will climax at the Lugogo Sports Hostel this weekend after four days of stiff competition, attracting more than 50 pugilists. The boxers are battling for places on the national team scheduled to take part in this year’s All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
The trials were possible after National Council of Sports grabbed the powers of the Godfrey Nyakana led Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation.
