Germany to inject Shs50bn in rural agriculture

With Uganda`s population growing at 5.5 percent and a birth rate of 3.3 percent, there can never be any better time than now to pave way on how to increase agriculture output in the east African country. An Agricultural Finance Conference with a theme “Harnessing the Continent’s Potential” under the Finance work for Africa yesterday opened at Speke Resort Munyonyo to address the issue of agriculture financing to increase on food production.
