She had lost all hope. She thought she had an ailment that could only lead her to her grave. 31-year-old Gertrude Nalukwago, who lived in Nalukolongo, a Kampala suburb, with her husband and three kids, was afflicted by a deadly disease. She had severe pain all over her body, pus oozed through her mouth, ears and eyes.
