The Uganda Heart Institute at Mulago Hospital is set to resume Open Heart surgery in July, The Razor has learnt. According to a reliable source, the surgery to be supported by a charity group will be conducted starting July 23, at the heart institute.
“I don’t know how long it will take but it is starting on the 23rd of next month,” the source said.
In April this year, the institute was forced to suspend open heart surgery following the theft of aluminium oxygen
