President sets permanent secretaries against cabinet

President Museveni urged permanent secretaries in ministries to be careful when carrying out their duties because he will hold them accountable for the decisions ministers take.

Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of ministers held at State House Entebbe on Monday, the president told permanent secretaries the holiday is over. “You are the accounting officers in charge of money, contracts and personnel.
