Hoima - A foulsmelling lagoon just two kilometres out of town has compelled area residents
to ask local council officials in the area and the National Water and Sewerage Corporation
(NWSC) to have it relocated.
The aggrieved residents and traders in Kahoora division, Kiganda of Hoima district said the bad odour from the lagoon had affected their activities, with most saying they live in fear of an outbreak of cholera and malaria.
