Water crisis worsens

Moyo - The acute water shortage in the district due to the low water levels affecting the reservoir at Lore-Eyi gravity flow scheme has persisted despite the resurgence of rains. The poor functioning of the scheme, the most reliable source of water in Moyo town since 2002, has been further compounded by the procurement of a pump instead of a water pump generator by the water and environment ministry.

Also disturbing is that boreholes in Pacuawi, Onyire Pai and Vura
