Will Shs10 trillion budget be a blessing or a curse?

The Minister of Finance Maria Kiwanuka will today readout a budget for the next financial year 2011/2012 starting July. While reading out the budget, she will stare at an economy under double-digit inflation pressure. She will be indi¬rectly ticking off figures that may not make much sense to millions of Ugandans who sleep hungry, cannot af¬ford paraffin, school fees and some who cannot afford to drive to work because of the high cost of fuel.
