Long envied as one of the preferred business destinations for Ugandans, the Middle Eastern city of Dubai has surprised many local traders with the expulsion of all Ugandan businessmen deemed sick. At the weekend about 17 Africans including Ugandans were deported from Dubai for fear they would infect Arabs with malaria and HIV.
