Mubende LCV boss survives petition

KAMPALA - A temperamental politician who was convicted after slapping someone has survived being dislodged from the chairmanship of Mubende district. Bazigatirawo Kibuuka Amooti yesterday survived an election petition filed in the High Court by Fred Kasirye and John Luyimbazi, who had sought to have Amooti’s victory cancelled on grounds that he is a convict.
