Civil society warns police on brutality

Police should restrain from using excessive brutality against unarmed civilians engaged in the walk to work demonstration, the Human Rights Network-Uganda has demanded. In a statement to the press on Friday, HURINET warned of tough measures against the perpetrators of this heinous act.
