Day-old baby dumped in bar

Residents of Kaboowa, a Kampala surburb recovered a one-day old baby abandoned in a local bar. According to Justine Namutebi, the baby’s care taker, she found the baby placed in basket under a table in the bar on Tuesday morning. “I rushed to Kaboowa police station with the baby but they did not help me at all. Right now we are looking for transport so that we take the baby to Sanyu Babies Home,” she said.
