While climate change continues to wreak havoc across many parts of the country, the Namulonge Agricultural Research Centre and the National Agricultural Research Organisation have developed drought-resistant animal feeds to help farmers in places with minimal rainfall.
The two research institutions, in collaboration with a local civil society organization – Send-a-cow Uganda - last week gave out the drought resistant fodder to farmers in Mukono, Masaka, Rakai and Mityana districts.
