Kampala residents sue KCC

Three residents of Kampala have sued Kampala City Council over failure to repair city roads. Assumpta Namandi, Evelyne Agoe and Richard Omongole want High Court to declare that KCC’s failure to maintain city roads in good condition is a violation of people’s right to live in a clean and a healthy environment.

The trio filed the case on behalf of Kampala residents, who they said have suffered as a result of poorly maintained roads, accidents and unclean environment.
