The media is the ears and eyes of the often unsuspecting public over their leaders, the Government and its agencies. It is the public watch dog and cornerstone of the freedom of expression and speech. The media thrives on information which it passes to the concerned citizens; who insist that it should be told as it is and not anything less. They survive on revelations, however hard hitting, in this case, the state and all its agencies are not an exception.
