Opposition leader Kizza Besigye was arrested yesterday yet again as he attempted to crusade with his walk-to-work campaign in protest against the increasing cost of living in the country. Unlike previous episodes, yesterday’s arrest and eventually arraignment in court ended with the FDC President incarcerated. Now on remand, Besigye joins the DP President Norbert Mao in jail as the state moves to prosecute them for unlawful assembly, inciting violence and Lord knows what other set of charges!
