Teargas, gunshot casualties overwhelm Mulago Hospital

The Mulago Hospital casualty wing was yesterday a beehive of activity as it was overwhelmed by the huge number of teargas and gunshot victims taken to the national referral hospital. When The Razor visited the hospital, most of the patients being wheeled in were women. The Red Cross Branch Manager for Kampala North Julius Semanda said, “We are seeing many women some of whom are pregnant and even kids are being brought in as casualties.”
