Chinese steals Shs100m Ivory nailed at Entebbe

Police have arrested a Chinese national with 34 pieces of ivory worth over Shs100 million at Entebbe International Airport. Wu Linfel an engineer who has been working in DR Congo for the past two years claims that the items suspected to be ivory were given to him as a gift from his Congolese friends. Linfel’s passport shows that he entered Uganda through the western Uganda border point of Mpondwe.
