Ntoroko - Security officials in western Uganda have banned the sale of dried meat commonly known as Endubata. The officials led by the Ntoroko Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Fred Garyahandere, also halted the illegal transportation of cattle to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The two bans effected last week after a meeting with over 300 pastoralists, followed increased reports of cattle thefts by armed people in Rwebisengo sub county in Ntoroko district.
