The first round of the national handball league ended last weekend with several thrilling encounters. UPDF overcame Police Metro 27-22 while Kifaru clobbered Makerere University 25-19 in the men’s category played at the Clock Tower ground. In the women’s category, Prisons overpowered Police 22-15 before upsetting Nkumba University 28-20.
