Kilembe - A man in his mid twenties committed suicide in a police cell on Friday, May 6. Enock Muheka Mbusa, a resident of Nganji in Kilembe sub-county in Kasese who allegedly hanged himself, was being held on suspicion of defiling an 11-year old girl (names withheld).
According to Zebiya Kalyamubiri, the Officer in Charge of Kilembe police post, Muheka used his shirt to hang himself. The sub-county chairman of Kilembe Ezra Kamba asked police not to imprison suspects
