Patrick Lihanda, the Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) vice president has turned down a National Council of Sports (NCS) offer of appointment on the boxing steering committee for the All Africa Games and 2012 Olympics. Lihanda insists that the NCS’ committee on boxing contradicted sections of the UABF constitution – one of the several reasons he could take up the appointment.
