The US Government, through the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, in partnership with the Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP), on Friday launched a Medical Male Circumcision (MMC) Mobile Clinic at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo. The mobile MMC clinic - custom built in South Africa, contains a self contained surgical unit and two surgical beds.
It is the first of its kind to bring safe Medical Male Circumcision services to remote areas. It
