Lubigi residents clash with encroachers

On May 17, this year, a group of people, who called themselves the “Abataasoma”, invaded a swamp along Hoima road and forced their way to develop it against the standing orders of the National Environment Management Authority in an area gazetted as a wetland to preserve the ecosystem.
