Mayuge - Five districts in the eastern region could bid farewell to darkness, following the completion of a survey to extend electricity to the rural communities.
The three-month survey that began in April that aimed at formulating a rural electrification project design was conducted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the districts of Mayuge, Iganga, Bugiri, Namayingo and Busia.
