Saying he was travelling overseas was no help to VP Edward Ssekandi in the High Court in Kampala yesterday. The court turned down his request to put his defence on short
notice since he was going abroad.
Ssekandi had told the court he was flying out of Uganda for official duties. This was turned down by the Judge on grounds that the petitioner had other witnesses to give evidence in court.
