Parliament needs frequent induction seminars

We were blessed to go through a week-long post-election induction seminar as members of the 9th parliament at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. Various key experts and guest speakers gave us good lecture-doses on issues of good governance, democracy, corruption and how to go about our work as legislators. They admonished
us to avoid the mistakes and greed of previous legislators.

It was a good experience considering that some of the things taught were new concepts to some of us firsttime
